9 Mornings And a Wish

A lot of us here in the Philippines believes that completing the 9 Misa de Gallo or Simbang Gabi will give us the opportunity to make a wish on the last night. I’m not sure if the other countries believe this as well but here in the Philippines, people go to church religiously to make their wish.

Life has thrown us a lot of different throughout our lives. Some might be thrown to us again in the near future in bigger or smaller proportions, depending on what life feels like throwing. May it be paper balls, pebbles, sticks, stones, bricks, bowling balls, boulders, or even the world itself: life sure has a lot of ammo.

Singing in the Moonlight

Most of us in our family is a singer. None are professionals, but they do have the voice to be recognized. Most of us in the family sings ballads, singles or duets, whichever fits them or their mood. But mostly they sing old song from 80′s to 90′s depending on what the karaoke at home of offers. It’s how we usually celebrate any occation. With a lot of singing.

Lucky na kaya?

A lot of people have been saying, that in order to have a good relationship, you have to be friends first. At kung para kayo sa isa’t-isa, eventually magkakatuluyan din. There’s even a few songs about having falling in-love with their best  friend or friend in completely different situations.

Two Faces of a Coin

As we all know, a coin has two sides or “faces” on it. the “heads” and “tails” side. Totally different with each other, and yet one cannot be without the other. Even if one side is smoothed over or scratched, there will always be two choices.

I Want Change!

Change. Isa sa mga bagay na mahirap tanggapin ng karamihan sa atin. Change in family, change in friends, change ng lifestyle,  change in location, change in government, change sa work, change sa taong mahal natin, at ang pinaka mahirap tanggapin, change sa sarili at sa buhay natin. Mga pag-babago na makakabuti sana sa’tin pero hindi natin tinanggap.

Student Life

Being a student is one of the most important part in one’s life. For me at least. Why? Because it’s where a person experiences almost everything one can experience in life. There are times when you’re like working for a regular job when writing a thesis, anxiously waiting for your allowances as if you’re waiting for your salary, where you can go out and have fun just like Friday nights after work, frantically looking for materials to use for assignments and thesis as if you’re job hunting, and who can ever forget love problems as if you are going to be separated with your spouse?
